About Zheng
Hi, I'm Zheng! As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, my greatest passion is providing weight-inclusive, identify-affirming care that centers on profound respect of your unique lived experience, culture, and capacity. Drawing from my own journey of making peace with my body, alongside my background in Psychology and Neuroscience and advanced degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics, I offer a compassionate, evidence-based partnership. Using a weight inclusive approach, I help you navigate disordered eating and eating disorder recovery, acute and chronic GI conditions, and unique diabetes, bariatric, or GLP-1 journeys. I ultimate goal is to hold a safe, non-judgmental space filled with empowerment as we work together to reestablish your relationship with food and nurture genuine safety in your body.
Approach to care
I believe your relationship with food is deeply personal, and your unique story deserves to be heard. As a BIPOC provider and someone who moved to North America for college, I understand firsthand how deeply culture and lived experiences shape our connection to nourishment. My approach centers on creating a warm, empowering space where you feel truly seen. Together, we will explore the intersection of your lived experience and your health goals, always meeting exactly where you are. We'll focus on flexibility rather than rigid rules —setting small, achievable goals and working with your concerns and barriers, not against them, to build sustainable habits that honor your whole self.
Your first session with Zheng
Think of our first session as a comfortable, safe space for me to simply get to know you. My main goal is to truly listen and learn your story. We'll chat about your life— from your upbringing and the foods you grew up loving to your daily routines, your relationship with food, and the ways you enjoy moving. We'll gently explore your values, any stressors you're carrying, and what motivates you. Of course, we will also make plenty of time to discuss your specific goals, your hopes for working with a dietitian, and any concerns you might have. I genuinely believe that the more real and open we are, the better we can create a supportive path that truly works for you. I would be so honored to be part of your journey!

Hobbies
When I'm not working, I'm all about finding what genuinely feels good. I treasure my quiet days as a homebody (naps are essential!) just as much as I love exploring outside and getting some sun with my loved ones. You can also often find me checking out local coffee shops— I have a particular weakness for cat cafes! Lately, I've been diving into new creative hobbies like photography and video editing. And I'll admit, I have a major soft spot for collecting cute stationary and blind boxes!
