About Whitney
Ten years as a Registered Dietitian have shown me that meaningful change comes from small, consistent shifts. I hold an MS in Nutrition Science from East Carolina University and a bachelorās from the University of Cincinnati, and I practice as an RDN and LDN after experiences in corporate wellness, community health, and the hospital setting. When I step away from charts I roll out a yoga mat, test a new recipe, tend my garden, or pick up an embroidery hoop. Those hobbies keep my work practical, creative, and grounded.
Approach to care
Evidence matters, and so does kindness. I bring current research into conversations that feel warm, nonjudgmental, and practical. Together we'll turn science into clear, doable steps that fit your life, emphasizing behavior change and sustainability rather than quick fixes. I work from a Health At Every Size perspective, looking at the whole person, educating you about options, and giving direct, actionable strategies we can adapt as you progress.
Your first session with Whitney
Expect a calm, conversational visit where we'll review your medical history and establish a couple of short-term goals that feel realistic. We'll talk about routines, what's working, and what feels hard, all in a judgment-free space. You do not need to have everything figured out beforehand. We'll leave with clear next steps, practical education you can use right away, and a plan to build momentum together.
