About Virginia
Food has always been where science meets everyday life for me. I earned an MS in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers and practice as a Registered Dietitian, RDN, bringing three years of experience across hospital care, community health programs, and advanced aging services. Outside of work you'll find me exercising, line dancing, or horseback riding, which reminds me that healthy living is about joy as much as routine. I'm eager to help you build a lifestyle that proves you CAN have it all.
Approach to care
Evidence and compassion guide how I work. I blend current research with a warm, straightforward style so we can move from understanding to action together. I prioritize behavior change and sustainable habits over weight-focused goals. I teach the why behind recommendations, set clear short-term steps, and provide practical accountability. We focus on the whole person, mental and physical, so change fits your life and lasts.
Your first session with Virginia
We'll begin by reviewing your medical history and taking a deep and discussing how your relationship with food can impact your habits. I want to hear about routines, wins, and frustrations so we can choose short-term, achievable goals together. You do not need to have everything figured out or a perfect food log. Expect an educational, supportive conversation that leaves you with one or two clear steps to try and a plan we can adjust as we go.
