About Vanessa
As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist licensed in Idaho, Texas, Utah and Oregon—and soon credentialed in Georgia, Kentucky and Illinois—I help clients connect the dots between what they eat and how they feel physically, mentally, and emotionally. My approach blends evidence-based nutrition with real-life application so you feel empowered, not overwhelmed. Our work is collaborative and personalized, going beyond calories and meal plans. Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, improving gut health, or building a better relationship with food, I guide you with compassion, clarity, and practical tools. I specialize in weight loss, diabetes, heart health, kidney disease, digestive disorders, tube feeding, and mental health nutrition. Using strategies like meal planning, intuitive eating, supplements, and lifestyle support, we will create a sustainable plan that fits your life—no extremes, just lasting results.
Approach to care
I offer a supportive, realistic approach to nutrition that meets you where you are. Whether you're managing a condition or just want to feel better in your body, I provide personalized guidance without judgment or restriction. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your life—and helps you feel confident, not confused, about food.
Your first session with Vanessa
Your first session is all about you. This is where we slow down, take a breath, and start connecting the dots between what you eat and how you feel—physically, mentally, and emotionally. I focus on getting to know you as a whole person, not just a diagnosis, a lab value, or a number on a scale. We’ll talk about: Your health history and current concerns, your relationship with food, symptoms you might be experiencing, and lifestyle factors like sleep, stress, work, and movement, what’s worked (and what hasn’t) in the past, and finally your goals—both short-term and long-term! There’s no judgment. No food shaming. No extreme rules. I offer a supportive, realistic approach to nutrition that meets you exactly where you are.

Hobbies
When I’m not working with clients, you can usually find me trying new functional foods and supplements, drinking coffee, spending quality time with my family and pets, or singing (music is one of my favorite creative outlets). I love food, culture, movement, and laughter—and I bring that same grounded, positive energy into my work every day.
