About Turner

Hello! I’m Turner Sanderson, a board-certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with experience in clinical nutrition, fitness and performance, community wellness, and higher education. I’ve worked in both outpatient and inpatient healthcare settings, including providing nutrition support in intensive care units, and have taught Medical Nutrition Therapy at the collegiate level. In addition to my RDN credential, I hold two advanced certifications: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and School Nutrition Specialist (SNS). I also previously held the Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) credential while providing enteral and parenteral nutrition support in critical care settings. I also lead SV Performance & Nutrition, where I provide personalized, evidence-based nutrition guidance for individuals and athletes. My goal is to help you build sustainable habits, reach your health goals, and feel confident in your nutrition choices.

Approach to care

I believe that nutrition should be personalized, practical, and empowering. Every individual has unique goals, preferences, and challenges, so my approach is never one-size-fits-all. I focus on providing evidence-based guidance that fits your lifestyle and supports sustainable, long-term success. I partner with clients to set realistic, achievable goals, provide ongoing education and support, and make adjustments as needed along the way. My mission is to help you feel confident in your daily food choices, whether your goal is improving overall health, managing a medical condition, or enhancing athletic performance.

Your first session with Turner

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll take time to discuss your health history, current eating habits, lifestyle, and any goals you have for your nutrition and overall well-being. Whether you're looking to improve general health, manage a medical condition, or enhance athletic performance, this conversation helps me better understand your unique needs. Together, we’ll identify realistic and achievable goals and begin developing a personalized nutrition plan that fits your lifestyle. You’ll also have plenty of time to ask questions and talk through any challenges or concerns you may have about food, nutrition, or health. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and confident about the next steps. Nutrition changes don’t have to be overwhelming—we’ll take a practical and sustainable approach that works for you.
