About Tricia

Hi, I'm Tricia. With 25 years as a Registered Dietitian, I blend science with practical, compassionate guidance to help people build lasting health. I hold an MS in Human Nutrition and an MA in Business and Communication, and my BS is in Clinical Dietetics. My career spans clinical and hospital care, private practice, and community health, and I still learn from every patient I meet. Outside of work I love gardening, cooking, hiking, volunteering, and traveling with family. I also work as a Clinical Instructional Designer, which helps me translate nutrition science into clear, usable education for you.

Approach to care

My care philosophy centers on evidence-based, collaborative care that respects your pace and goals. I ground our plans in current science and tailor them to your life, preferences, and values. My style is empathetic and warm, with direct and actionable steps you can start today. I practice a healthy perspective, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. I see you holistically, considering sleep, mood, stress, and relationships as we build lasting change. Education is at the core, so you understand the why behind every recommendation and feel confident making decisions for your health.

Your first session with Tricia

Think of our first visit as a conversation, not an exam. We'll review your medical history, current lab work or biometrics, and the goals that matter most to you. We'll establish short-term milestones and a practical plan that fits your daily life. I will provide you a strong nutrition education foundation. I teach the 'why' behind the changes and provide motivation and tools for lifelong healthy habits. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable, and we'll go step by step, together, with no pressure to have everything figured out before we begin.
