About Teresa
Food and movement have always shaped how I show up, both professionally and personally. I studied Biological Sciences at NC State and completed an MPH in Nutrition at Temple, and currently work in collegiate sports nutrition. As an RDN, I’m committed to cutting through nutrition misinformation so we can build simple, sustainable habits that actually fit your life. When I’m off the clock you’ll find me cooking, staying active, or exploring new restaurants and coffee shops.
Approach to care
Evidence and kindness guide my work. I translate current research into clear, practical steps while keeping our conversations judgment-free. I’m educational and direct, so you’ll understand the why behind each strategy and we’ll set achievable actions together. I look at the whole person, including stress, sleep, and routines, so changes stick long term. We’ll refine plans as you learn, focusing on sustainable habits instead of quick fixes.
Your first session with Teresa
Expect a relaxed, thorough conversation where we’ll review your medical history and take a deep dive into your relationship with food. You don’t need to have everything figured out or bring perfect tracking. I’m here to listen, separate fact from food noise, and help you set one or two realistic, practical steps to try between visits. Our first meeting is low-pressure and collaborative, and we’ll leave with a clear, sustainable place to start together.
