About Sydney
Between earning my MS in Nutrition from Meredith College and four years practicing as a Registered Dietitian, Iβve worked in private practice, community health, and tech to turn evidence into practical change. As an RDN I enjoy writing nutrition content and creating recipes that make healthy habits feel doable. Outside of counseling I am mom to 3 young kids, bake sourdough, grow a herb garden, and hike the Appalachian mountains. Those hands-on hobbies keep my suggestions seasonal, simple, and grounded in real life.
Approach to care
Food and health deserve both compassion and clarity. I use current research to inform recommendations, while listening with empathy so you feel heard and respected. We'll prioritize sustainable, behavior-focused strategies rather than quick fixes or dieting rules, practicing through an intuitive eating lens that centers wellbeing over weight. Together we'll break goals into clear, actionable steps, build skills through education, and adapt plans so changes stick for the long term.
Your first session with Sydney
Expect a relaxed, curiosity-driven visit where we review your medical history, take a deep look at your relationship with food, and talk through daily routines and priorities. You don't need to have everything figured out. We'll collaboratively identify one or two short-term, achievable goals so you leave with a clear next step. This is a judgment-free space where we'll troubleshoot barriers and build momentum together.
