About Stacey
Food and movement have shaped both my work and my weekends. I trained at New York University, earning an MS in General Dietetics, and I've practiced as an RD for 25 years across clinical hospital care, private practice, research and academia, corporate wellness, and sports nutrition in New York. I bring science into everyday life and partner with people to create realistic habits. When I'm not seeing patients you'll find me hiking, cooking, reading, walking my dogs and spending time with my family and friends.
Approach to care
Science guides what I recommend, and empathy shapes how I put it into practice. I rely on evidence-based strategies while keeping conversations warm and judgment-free. Together we'll focus on sustainable, actionable steps that build lasting habits, not short-term fixes. I take a weight-neutral perspective and address the whole person, including emotional and lifestyle factors, and I aim to educate so you'll leave equipped to make confident choices.
Your first session with Stacey
Expect a relaxed, collaborative visit where we'll review your medical history and go over any lab work or biometrics you bring. This is a low-pressure conversation, so you don't need to have everything figured out beforehand. We'll talk about what's working, what's been hard, and what you want to change. Before we finish we'll set one or two short-term, practical goals together and outline next steps that we can adjust as needed.
