Patient reviews
âSimone gave me excellent suggestions, not only based on nutrition, but overall health. The focus is on me and my well being, not the scale. I am happy to have her on my care team. â

About Simone
Hi, I'm Simone - a functional and holistic dietitian who developed a love for great food in my previous career in NYC restaurant management. I earned my Masterâs degree in Clinical Nutrition at NYU and completed training at Mount Sinai Medical Center. I'm certified in Plant-Based Nutrition and have decades of experience crafting delicious, plant-based meals. After starting my own practice in 2019, I completed Monash Universityâs Low FODMAP training which allows me to provide unique support to those facing GI concerns. Most recently, I became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer to offer clients additional exercise expertise. I'm passionate about providing inclusive, judgement-free, and compassionate care to adults seeking help with gut disorders, women's health, & sustainable weight management.
Approach to care
I offer evidence-based science grounded in an intuitive eating framework to heal your gut and free you from unsustainable dieting and restriction. Through a signature plant-forward approach, weâll look towards whole-foods before resorting to pills and supplements. I promise to provide you with no-nonsense science without letting trends, outdated thinking, or my own preferences get in the way. When it comes to better health, the steps we take shouldnât be quick-fixes, unsustainable routines, or overly restrictive rules shaped by diet culture. Building habits that are both nourishing and sustainable allows us feel good here and now, but also thrive in the future.
Your first session with Simone
We'll discuss your health goals, previous and current food habits, relationship with food, supplement and medication use, physical activity, and lifestyle. Being mindful of existing challenges, we'll work together to create a specific roadmap for you to begin on. This may include diet changes, mindful eating practices, supplements, and exercise.
