About Sharvette
Nutrition has been my compass for 17 years, leading me from hospital wards to community health programs, corporate wellness teams, private practice, and academic research. With an MS in Clinical Nutrition and credentials as an RDN and LD, I combine science with real-world problem solving. Outside work I run, hike, lift weights, and cook, so I design plans that fit active lives and busy kitchens. Together we'll build sustainable habits that feel doable and durable.
Approach to care
Evidence guides what I recommend, and empathy shapes how we work together. I practice through a Health At Every Size lens, prioritizing behavior change, function, and whole-person wellbeing rather than focusing on numbers. My style is direct and action-oriented while remaining warm and nonjudgmental; we'll set clear, research-backed steps, address sleep and movement as part of a holistic plan, and I’ll teach the why behind strategies so you can make confident, lasting choices.
Your first session with Sharvette
Expect a warm, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history and take a deep dive into your relationship with food. We'll use that context to co-create a couple of short-term, realistic goals that fit your routine and preferences. You don't need perfect records or all the answers before we meet. We'll leave with clear, manageable steps and a sense of direction for steady, sustainable progress together.
