About Shailee
I have always believed that nutrition should feel supportive, not stressful or confusing. Over the years, working with people in hospitals, outpatient settings, and the community, Iâve seen how overwhelming it can be to try to âget it rightâ with food, especially when youâre also managing health concerns or a busy life. Thatâs why I focus on helping you simplify things and find an approach that works for you. I enjoy getting to know my patients beyond their diagnosis, understanding their routines, culture, and what matters most to them. Outside of work, I love sharing my passion for food and culture through teaching, community events, and exploring different cuisines.
Approach to care
My approach to care is simple. I meet you where you are! I believe nutrition should feel supportive, not stressful. Instead of focusing on strict rules or perfection, I work with you to create small, realistic changes that fit your life and build over time. Every person is different, so your care should be too. I take into account your health needs, lifestyle, culture, and preferences to create a plan that feels natural and sustainable. Most importantly, I want you to feel heard, understood, and confident in the steps youâre taking.
Your first session with Shailee
Your first session is really about getting to know you. We will talk through your health history, your current eating habits, and what youâre hoping to improve. You donât need to come prepared with anything perfect, just your honest experience. From there, we will start identifying a few simple, realistic changes that feel doable for you right now. Nothing overwhelming. By the end of the session, youâll have a clearer sense of direction and a few practical steps you can actually follow. Most importantly, youâll know you donât have to figure this out on your own.
