About Sarah

Nutrition changed my life in both personal and professional ways. After earning an MS in Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island and working across clinical/hospital care, community health, and sports nutrition, I lost over 100 pounds through sustainable diet and exercise, so I know the frustrations and the victories that come with lasting change. When I'm not working, you can find me hiking, running, biking, swimming, gardening, or arranging dopamine decor that sparks joy. I'm here to meet you where you are and support steady progress.

Approach to care

I combine rigorous science with practical, no-nonsense guidance to help people build habits that last. Grounded in evidence and delivered through a warm, nonjudgmental approach, I use a weight-neutral lens that honors Health At Every Size principles. We'll set clear, actionable steps and focus on whole-person health, including mental and emotional factors. Education is central, so you'll understand the why behind recommendations and gain tools to make sustainable changes together.

Your first session with Sarah

We'll start with a thoughtful review of your medical history and any lab work or biometrics, then take a deep dive into your relationship with food in a judgment-free space. Together we'll establish short-term, realistic goals and create an initial meal plan tailored to your life. This visit is low-pressure, you don't need to have it all figured out. I'll listen closely, ask targeted questions, and leave you with clear, practical next steps and confidence in the plan.
