About Sarah
Books, baking, and a stubborn curiosity about how food shapes life have guided my path from Mount Mary University to seven years working as an RD in outpatient settings. Outside of work I enjoy quilting and cross stitching, bake when I need a reset, and play wheelchair lacrosse for fun and community (still can't believe we're National Champions!). My family and I run a farm using regenerative agricultural practices, because even outside of food and nutrition, I believe in finding solutions with long-term benefits. I'm realistically optimistic, and I want us to work together to find solutions that fit your life - because everyone should be allowed to enjoy a treat!
Approach to care
Evidence and empathy guide how I practice. I use current research to build practical, sustainable steps, that we then translate into routines that actually fit your day. Conversations are always judgment-free, focused on behaviors and health rather than numbers. We'll look at sleep, stress, activity, and food as parts of whole-person care, and I teach the Why? so you can make informed choices. I'm direct about next steps and supportive as we track progress together.
Your first session with Sarah
Expect a warm, low-pressure conversation where we'll review your medical history, any lab work or biometrics you bring, discuss what food looks like for you right now, and talk through your routines, wins, goals, and frustrations. You don't need to have everything figured out before our visit. Together we'll identify one to two short-term goals that feel doable, outline practical next steps, and set a clear path forward so progress feels manageable and sustainable.
