About Sarah
Food and science have guided my career for the past 15 years, after completing a Master of Science in Nutrition. Working in the hospital settings and and outpatient Dialysis center has taught me how to translate clinical evidence into practical plans that patients can actually use. As a Dietitian I strive to provide compassionate and realistic care. Outside the clinic I recharge with family time, tending the garden, and getting lost in a good book.
Approach to care
My recommendations are based on current research while keeping your life front and center. Using a Health At Every Size and weight-neutral lens, I focus on behaviors, function, and wellbeing rather than scale numbers. I strive to provide warm and nonjudgmental guidance with clear, action-oriented steps so we can make measurable progress. Together we'll address the whole person, including emotional and lifestyle factors, and I’ll teach practical skills that support sustainable change.
Your first session with Sarah
We'll start by reviewing your medical history and any lab work or biometrics so I understand the clinical context. I will take time to explore your relationship with food, including what’s worked, and what feels hard. Our conversation is low-pressure and judgment-free, and together we'll choose one or two short-term, achievable goals to begin building lasting habits. You do not need to have it all figured out before we meet.
