About Sara

I've been a practicing Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for nearly eighteen years. I received my undergraduate degree in Dietetics from the University of Connecticut and my Master's degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. I'm a lifelong learner, and I enjoy translating complex science into practical steps my clients can take to build healthier habits. I understand the struggle of finding time to prioritize health while balancing other aspects of life, and I look forward to sharing my expertise with you on your health journey. I'm passionate about getting to know my clients on a deeper level so we can partner together for an individualized nutrition and lifestyle plan that works for you. The power of nutrition and its impact on health never ceases to amaze me, and I look forward to sharing my knowledge with you.

Approach to care

I take an individualized, root-cause approach, partnering with you to uncover sustainable solutions that empower your wellness journey. Recognizing that you are the expert on your own body, I blend clinical expertise with compassion to guide you toward meaningful, lasting change. Together, we'll celebrate your wins and navigate challenges, using a food-as-medicine philosophy to address the root of your health and nutrition concerns.

Your first session with Sara

Our first session focuses on you, and marks the starting point for positive change. I'll get to know you, and we'll lay the foundation for sustainable change. We'll review your medical and nutrition history, your relationship with food, and your current and future health goals. We'll start to uncover opportunities for meaningful change. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling excited and empowered, with a few small and doable goals to start.
