About Sara
Nutrition has been the foundation through 12 years of work in hospitals, private practice, corporate wellness, research, and community health. With a BS in Food Science and Nutrition and practice as an RD, LD and RDN, I blend science with empathy to help people build sustainable habits and a more positive relationship with food. My background as a teacher informs how I explain concepts, and outside the clinic I make soap, hike, and travel to stay curious and grounded.
Approach to care
I center care in evidence without shaming or quick fixes. We’ll use current research to guide clear, actionable steps that fit your real life, focusing on behaviors instead of weight. I aim to create a warm, judgment-free space where we address the whole person, including emotions, sleep, stress, and routines. Education is part of healing, so I’ll help you understand the why behind recommendations so you can make sustainable choices long term.
Your first session with Sara
You can expect a relaxed, thorough conversation where we’ll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics, and take a deep dive into your relationship with food. There’s no pressure to have answers beforehand. Together we’ll identify short-term, manageable goals and a clear next step to get you moving forward. The visit is collaborative and nonjudgmental, focused on realistic changes you can sustain.
