About Samantha
Originally from New York, I now call Seattle, Washington home, where I love taking advantage of the outdoorsâwhether thatâs hiking, camping, paddle boarding, or spending time with my dog, Moose. My journey into nutrition is deeply personal. Living with type 1 diabetes has shaped my understanding of how powerful food can be in supporting health, balance, and overall well-being. Itâs what inspired me to become a dietitian and to help others navigate their own unique health journeys with confidence and compassion. I believe nutrition should feel approachable, realistic, and tailored to your lifeânot restrictive or overwhelming. My goal is to meet you where you are and support you in creating habits that truly work for you.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is rooted in an âall foods fitâ approach and aligned with the principles of Health at Every SizeÂź. I believe that all foods can have a place in a balanced, nourishing way of eating, and that health is not defined by a number on the scale. Rather than focusing on restriction or rigid rules, I support clients in building flexibility, trust, and confidence around food.
