About Rivka
I've always felt passionate about nutrition and eating healthy, which led me to obtain a degree in nutrition and dietetics. Over the course of five years working in clinical and hospital settings, I've translated medical nutrition therapy into clear, practical plans for patients. Outside of work I love cooking, reading, and spending time with my family. I bring that same curiosity and warmth to our conversations, helping you find realistic ways to make food feel nourishing and manageable.
Approach to care
I ground my work in current science while meeting you where you are. As an RDN I prioritize evidence-based strategies and then translate them into direct, doable steps so we'll have clear actions to try between visits. I practice with a weight-neutral lens, focusing on behaviors, wellbeing, and long-term habits rather than quick fixes. Together we’ll look at the whole person, including sleep, stress, and daily routines, and I’ll teach skills so you can make informed choices that stick, without judgment.
Your first session with Rivka
Expect a calm, collaborative conversation where we'll review your medical history and talk through what matters most to you. We'll establish a couple of short-term, achievable goals together and begin building a meal plan that fits your tastes and lifestyle. You don’t need to have it all figured out; my role is to listen, offer science-backed options, and help you take small, sustainable steps toward the changes you want.
