About Riley
Hey! I'm Riley, I use she/her pronouns. I am recently moved back to my hometown, Marquette, Michigan, after living in Juneau, Alaska for over 5 years. Fun facts about me: I am left-handed, I have been to 30 countries, I am a certified open-water diver, I am the proud mom of a black kitty, and I grew my first heirloom tomato this past summer(!!!). I have been working as an outpatient dietitian for over 6 years and I love what I do. I specialize in disordered eating/eating disorders, I received an Eating Disorder Certificate through Lewis and Clark College in July 2025. I am interested in functional medicine and supplementation as a complementary approach to nutrition care.
Approach to care
Holistic, compassionate and flexible; my training and experience have taught me the importance of listening deeply and providing support that is grounded in respect and empathy. I recognize that conversations about diet, weight, food insecurity, chronic disease, and overall health can often feel vulnerable or triggering. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and supported in your journey toward a healthier relationship with food and your body.
Your first session with Riley
Active listening and open-ended questions to get to know you. I am interested in meeting you where you are at; I am your co-pilot, you are in the driver seat! Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, navigating emotional eating, or simply looking to improve your overall health, I’m here to help you achieve your goals in a realistic, sustainable way.
