About Rebecca

Hi, I'm Rebecca. I'm a Registered Dietitian with six years of practice, and I love helping people build a healthier relationship with food that lasts. I earned my MS in Food, Nutrition, Dietetics, and Sensory Sciences from Kansas State University and my BS in Nutritional Science from Texas A&M, with additional theatre training that keeps my approach warm and creative. My career spans private practice, clinical care, research, and community health. My own journey into motherhood, inspired me to obtain a Certified Lactation Consultant credential in addition to my Registered Dietitian. I live with an autoimmune condition that fuels my empathy for every patient's journey and drove me to change careers to become a Dietitian. When I'm not helping people nourish their lives, you'll find me in the woods hiking or practicing archery, weightlifting, or singing.

Approach to care

My care philosophy blends science with compassion. I base plans on current evidence while staying flexible to your life, goals, and values. We'll work together to understand your relationship with food, daily routines, and stress, then translate that into clear, doable steps. I practice with HAES principles, focusing on behaviors that support health without judgment or shame. My approach is holistic and educational, empowering you to build sustainable habits that feel right for you today and in the long run.

Your first session with Rebecca

Our first appointment is about you and your story. We'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics, and have a deep conversation about your relationship with food, preferences, and goals. You don't need to have everything figured out yet; together we'll shape a practical plan. Expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where we set 1-2 achievable goals and outline what support looks like as we move forward, at a pace that fits you.
