About Rae
I’ve spent the last eight years helping people feel confident and capable in their everyday eating. I earned my MS in Nutrition and Metabolism from the University of Texas Medical Branch and have worked across sports nutrition, research, and campus hospitality. Outside of work, you’ll find me with my dog, out for a run, reading, painting, crafting, at the beach, picnicking, or exploring anything food‑related. I bring that same energy and curiosity to every visit. Excited to meet you!
Approach to care
Food and health deserve compassion and clarity. I lean on current research to guide recommendations, then translate that evidence into clear, practical steps we can try together. Care is weight-neutral and behavior-focused, so we prioritize sustainable habits over quick fixes. I aim to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you'll feel heard, learn the 'why' behind strategies, and receive direct, actionable plans that fit your life and long-term goals.
Your first session with Rae
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your typical days, routines, and what's most important to you. You don't need perfect data or answers before we meet. Together we'll identify short-term, manageable goals that are grounded in evidence and suited to your life, and I'll offer practical steps and resources to try between visits. We'll check progress and adapt as needed so changes stick.
