About Rachel
Food has been my compass throughout 16 years working as an RD and LD in clinical and hospital settings. I earned my BS in Dietetics from the University of Dayton and now focus on translating science into realistic routines that work for busy, on-the-go lives. Outside of work you'll find me at Pure Barre, cooking a simple meal, reading, catching a reality TV episode, or planning my next trip. We'll build mindful, quick choices that fit your day and stick long term.
Approach to care
Grounded in current research, I combine evidence-based guidance with warmth and practical steps. I follow Health At Every Size principles to keep our work weight-neutral and behavior-focused, while looking at the whole person, including mental and lifestyle factors. We'll learn the why behind recommendations, set clear, doable actions, and adjust together as life changes. My aim is to educate and support steady, sustainable habits, not quick fixes.
Your first session with Rachel
When you arrive, we'll take time to review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics so we have the full context. The conversation is judgment-free and low-pressure, so you don't need to have everything figured out. Together we'll identify short-term goals that feel realistic for your schedule, and leave with a clear, practical plan and a couple of actionable steps to get started.
