About Rachel

Hey there! I'm Rachel, a Registered Dietitian who is passionate about accessible nutrition to help you feel empowered. I earned my Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University. My love for mountains and nutrition brought me to the Rocky Mountain West, completing my Dietetic Internship in Montana and relocating to Colorado. I've practiced in long-term care and nutrition counseling settings; I bring that practical experience to every visit by helping you achieve progress, not perfection. I combine my value of joyful eating and movement to help you reach your personalized health goals and improve your relationship with food.

Approach to care

Food and health are complex, and I lean on current evidence to guide the steps we take together. I practice through a Health At Every Size lens, focusing on behaviors and wellbeing rather than weight. You'll find my style warm and nonjudgmental, yet direct and action oriented. I translate research into clear, practical strategies, teach skills you can use in daily life, and prioritize sustainable habits so gains stick beyond any single appointment.

Your first session with Rachel

Expect a relaxed, collaborative conversation where we'll review your medical history, go over any lab work or biometrics you have, and talk about what matters most to you. I won't judge how you got here, and you don't need to have everything figured out. I'll answer questions, help prioritize next steps, and together we'll establish one or two short-term goals so you leave with a clear, manageable plan and confidence to begin making lasting changes.
