About Rachel
Hi, I’m Rachel! I’m a Registered Dietitian who believes nutrition care should be compassionate, personalized and grounded in real life. After more than a decade working across hospitals, outpatient clinics, long term care and telehealth environments, I still feel energized by helping people build sustainable habits that support their overall wellbeing and quality of life. I especially enjoy working with clients who are ready to better understand their health, strengthen their relationship with food and make meaningful changes that feel realistic for their lifestyle. My approach is collaborative and client-centered – I take the time to understand your values, priorities, and what success looks like to you so we can create practical strategies that truly fit your life. Based in Denver, you’ll often find me hiking with my Goldendoodle, practicing hot yoga or sweating at Orangetheory. I also enjoy reading, traveling and chasing a great cup of coffee or a good glass of red wine.
Approach to care
I focus on helping you build a positive, sustainable relationship with food and your body by emphasizing overall well-being rather than quick fixes. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your unique needs, values, and goals with compassion and curiosity. Using mindful eating practices and personalized, evidence-based nutrition guidance, we’ll work together to develop realistic habits that fit your life and promote long-term health. I take a whole-person approach—considering sleep, stress, movement, and enjoyment of food—while focusing on behavior change that is weight-neutral and not centered on the scale. I believe meaningful change happens over time, so my goal is to equip you with practical skills and confidence to find food freedom, feel your best, and create lasting results.
Your first session with Rachel
Your first appointment is all about getting to know you. We’ll review your medical history, daily routines, relationship with food and what’s most important to you right now. This conversation is relaxed, judgement-free and low pressure – It helps us create a strong foundation for our work together and the relationship we’ll build. You don’t need perfect answers or to have everything figured out ahead of time – Just come as you are. My goal is to truly understand your experiences, values, goals and what success looks like from your perspective. By the end of this session, you’ll leave with one or two practical, realistic steps that feel manageable for your life.
