About Patina
Food, family, and curiosity have guided my career for three decades. After earning a BS in Dietetics from Miami University I spent years caring for patients predominantly in the clinical outpatient setting, learning how nutrition supports a variety of clinical conditions and daily living. As an RDN and LD I bring science-based experience and a warm, down-to-earth style to every visit. When I’m not at work you’ll find me cooking, hiking, strolling the beach, or hanging out with family, friends, and my two pups.
Approach to care
Nutrition counseling should be rooted in solid science and real life. I use current research to inform practical, evidence-based strategies, while keeping things compassionate and judgment-free. We’ll work together, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. I’ll give clear, actionable steps and education so you feel empowered to make choices that fit your life, and we’ll adjust as we go.
Your first session with Patina
Expect a thoughtful, low-pressure conversation where we’ll look at the full picture. We’ll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics, and take a deep dive into your relationship with food so we can understand patterns and goals. Together we’ll create a meal plan and establish short-term, manageable goals you can try right away. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.
