About Nicole
Nutrition has been my favorite puzzle since graduate school, and that curiosity led me to an MS in Nutritional Sciences and a career as a registered and licensed dietitian. Over seven years I've worked in hospitals, corporate wellness programs, and long term care in and around Birmingham, Alabama, helping people translate evidence into habits that fit busy lives. I enjoy running and hiking to clear my head, and when I’m off the clock you’ll likely find me at a movie or a concert, recharging for the work ahead.
Approach to care
Food and health are never one-size-fits-all. Grounded in current research and my training as an RD and LD, I bring evidence-based guidance to a warm, nonjudgmental space. We'll focus on sustainable habits using a weight-neutral, health-at-every-size lens, addressing sleep, stress, movement, and emotions alongside nutrition. I aim to be educational and direct, so you understand the why behind each step while we prioritize practical, measurable changes that you can maintain long term.
Your first session with Nicole
Expect a relaxed, collaborative conversation that puts you at ease. I will listen to your medical and eating history, daily routines, wins, and frustrations, all without judgment. Together we'll identify one to three short-term goals that feel doable, so you leave with clear next steps instead of pressure. You don't need to have everything figured out before our visit, just bring your experiences and what you'd like to change and we'll build from there.
