About Nhan
Food and family have always shaped how I approach nutrition. As a registered dietitian with four years of experience and an MS in Applied Nutrition from The Sage Colleges, I combine clinical, community health, and sports nutrition to support people managing kidney disease, chronic conditions, and overall wellness. I’m passionate about helping patients feel confident through realistic, personalized plans. I work with a wide range of needs, including kidney health, weight management, and building sustainable, balanced eating habits. Cooking, yoga, travel, and time with family and friends keep my approach practical and grounded in real life.
Approach to care
Evidence and empathy guide how I work. I use current research and proven protocols to inform clear, practical steps, while keeping our conversations warm and judgment-free. We'll set direct, achievable actions and track progress together, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes or weight as the only outcome. I look at the whole person, from sleep and stress to movement and mindset, and I take time to teach the why so you can make confident, long-term choices.
Your first session with Nhan
Expect a relaxed, curiosity-driven conversation where we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have. We'll take a deep look at your relationship with food, celebrate what already works, and identify practical barriers. Together we'll establish one or two short-term goals that feel manageable, and I'll offer clear, evidence-based steps to try between visits. There is no pressure to have everything figured out, just a supportive, judgment-free space to get started.
