Hi, I’m Misti! I’m a Registered Dietitian based in Illinois, where I live with my husband and spend my free time enjoying long walks, golf, yoga, and traveling to professional sporting events. My very favorite thing is when my husband and I get to spend time with our two adult sons. I believe that food should be both nourishing and joyful, and I love exploring new restaurants and experimenting with fresh recipes in my own kitchen. As a dietitian, one of my favorite parts of the job is helping people discover creative, budget‑friendly ways to enjoy nutrient‑dense foods. Whether it’s building confidence in the grocery store, finding simple swaps that make meals more satisfying, or tailoring nutrition guidance to someone’s lifestyle, I’m passionate about making healthy eating feel approachable, flexible, and fun.

Your first session with Misti

Our first session is all about getting to know you. You’ll share your routines, preferences, challenges, and goals so every recommendation feels personalized, not generic. We’ll talk about more than the foods you eat—we’ll explore what you enjoy, who you share meals with, and how your environment and relationships shape your intake. I understand that eating is influenced by far more than food itself, and knowing your world helps me support you effectively. We’ll also review your medical history and discuss lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress, and movement, since these play a meaningful role in your well‑being and nutritional needs. By the end of our session, we’ll set realistic, achievable goals that feel aligned with your life, not forced or overwhelming. My aim is to create a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and ready to take the next step with confidence.
