About Micah
Food connects people and science, and that curiosity led me to earn an MS in Nutrition and Dietetics and practice as an RD, LDN. Over two years working in clinical hospital settings and community health taught me to combine evidence-based care with real life. I love Disney, cooking, walking, paddle boarding, and time with friends and family, and I bring that same warmth and curiosity to helping you find nutrition strategies that fit your life.
Approach to care
I center care in current science while keeping the conversation kind and practical. We'll work together using evidence-based, actionable steps that respect your lived experience and priorities. I follow a behavior-focused framework that looks at the whole person, not just food or a number on a scale. Education is central, so you'll learn the why behind recommendations and build sustainable habits that last.
Your first session with Micah
Think of the first visit as a get to know you conversation. We'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics, and spend time getting to know your needs and goals. I want to understand your relationship with food, what's worked, and where you feel stuck. We'll leave with one or two manageable, evidence-based steps to try, so you have a clear, low-pressure plan. You don't need to have it all figured out, we'll figure it out together.
