About Mia
Food and movement have always been my compass. As an RDN with an MS in Nutrition and Dietetics from Grand Canyon University, I spent my first year working in private practice helping people build habits that fit their lives. I love cooking, running, skiing, and weight lifting, and I bring that same curiosity and practicality to each appointment. I aim to make nutrition science approachable, realistic, and sustainable so we can create changes that stick.
Approach to care
Evidence should guide care, and compassion should shape how it's delivered. I ground recommendations in current research while keeping conversations warm and nonjudgmental. We'll focus on clear, practical steps you can follow, prioritizing long-term habit change over quick fixes. I work from a weight-neutral perspective, consider the whole person, and emphasize education so you can make informed choices that fit your life and values.
Your first session with Mia
When we meet for the first time, expect a calm, collaborative conversation where your experiences matter. We'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you bring, talk through your routines and priorities, and identify one to two short-term goals that feel doable. You don't need to have it all figured out before our visit. We'll set clear, practical next steps together and adjust as you progress.
