About Mary
Food has always been my favorite way to connect with people. I earned a BS in Nutrition and Dietetics with a minor in public health from Simmons University in Boston, MA and have eight years of experience as a Registered Dietitian working in clinical and hospital settings. As New York-based RDN and CDN, I bring science-backed care to a relaxed, no judgment space. Working in hospitals taught me to translate complex lab results into clear, doable plans. When I'm not with patients I love cooking new recipes, knitting, reading, and spending time with my family, including five nieces and two nephews!
Approach to care
Evidence and kindness guide how I work. I rely on current research and clinical best practices while keeping conversations warm and nonjudgmental, so you'll feel heard. We'll focus on sustainable habits over quick fixes, using clear, actionable steps that fit your life. My care is weight-neutral and whole-person focused, addressing mental, emotional, and lifestyle factors as well as food. Education is central, I want you to leave sessions feeling empowered to make informed choices and confident to adjust plans with me when needed.
Your first session with Mary
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics together. We'll set one or two short-term, realistic goals and co-create a meal plan that feels manageable. I prioritize clarity and momentum, so you'll leave with a clear direction and small, actionable steps to get started. You don't need to have everything figured out beforehand, that's my job to help you build sustainable change, one step at a time.
