About Mary Kristine
Hi! My name is Kristine, and I have worked as a registered dietitian for 12 years. I have worked with bariatric nutrition, weight loss, and hospital inpatient and outpatient nutrition. I live in a mountain town in California, and I love to bike, hike, and camp in those mountains. I also love to read, maybe with a glass of good red wine at my side.
Approach to care
Evidence and empathy shape how I walk alongside patients. I use current research to inform clear, practical steps, while holding space for your lived experience and goals. My work is weight-neutral and Healthy-At-Every-Size-aligned, focused on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. We'll break big changes into small, achievable actions, consider sleep, stress, movement, and emotions, and I will teach you skills so you can make confident choices long term.
Your first session with Mary Kristine
Think of the first visit as a thoughtful conversation about how food fits into your life. We'll take a deep dive into your relationship with food, review medical history and any lab work or biometrics, and talk through past attempts, successes, and barriers. I will meet you where you are, and together we'll set short-term, realistic goals that align with your readiness.
