About Marleah
After five years working in hospital clinics, research labs, and via telehealth nutrition counseling, I still get excited about translating science into day-to-day meals. My MS in Public Health Nutrition and current PhD candidacy in Leadership and Decision-Making guide how I blend evidence with practical plans. As an RD and LDN, I especially enjoy working with people who have allergies, intolerances, or GI concerns. In my free time, I also love cooking, playing piano, guitar, drums and banjo, painting pottery, reading, walking outside, and spending time with family and friends. I learn from each person I work with and prioritize solutions that fit real life.
Approach to care
Food, health, and behavior belong to the whole person, so I ground recommendations in current research while honoring your life, values, and goals. I am very passionate about food and nutrition as it is the foundation for health and longevity. Food not only sustains our body physically, but developing a healthy relationship with food can support mental health and wellbeing. I take an evidence-based, holistic perspective that focuses on sustainable habits and long-term change, not quick fixes. Our work will be warm and judgment-free, yet direct and action-oriented, with clear steps, measurable goals, and educational guidance so you feel confident making choices on your own. Together we'll test practical strategies and adjust as we learn what truly fits your lifestyle and daily routine.
Your first session with Marleah
Expect a relaxed, nonjudgmental conversation where we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics, and take a deep look at your relationship with food. We will set short-term, achievable goals and identify practical first steps so you leave with clarity and momentum. You do not need perfect tracking or all the answers. We'll work together, making sure plans are realistic for your life and adjusting as we go.
