About Marie
Twenty-three years of listening to people's food stories shaped how I practice. I trained with a BS in Nutrition from Mississippi State University, and as an RD who is also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and licensed LDN, I've worked in hospitals, private practice, corporate wellness, and sports nutrition. I enjoy cooking all varieties of food and spending time in my backyard, and I bring that same curiosity and warmth to our work together as we build habits that fit your life.
Approach to care
Food and health are about more than a number, so I center care on the whole person, not weight. Grounded in current research and clinical experience, I translate evidence-based guidance into clear, practical steps we can test and refine. Through a Health At Every Size, weight-neutral lens I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you'll learn skills, set accountable actions, and build sustainable changes that stick.
Your first session with Marie
Expect a deep, judgement-free conversation where we'll explore your relationship with food, what has helped or hindered you, and what feels realistic now. You don't need to have answers or perfect records. I'll help you identify one or two short-term goals together and outline practical next steps you can try at home. We'll keep things low-pressure and adjust plans as we learn what works for you.
