About Mariana
Food and family shape how I practice nutrition. I hold a Bachelor's in Human Food and Nutrition and have worked across private practice, clinical settings, corporate wellness, and community health. As an RDN with one year of experience, I blend science with real life. At home I love cooking with my family, walking our dogs, and learning about sustainable weight loss, so together we can build balanced, enjoyable habits that fit your life.
Approach to care
Evidence guides the plans we create, and compassion shapes how we get there. I use current research to develop clear, actionable steps while keeping our conversations judgment-free and weight-neutral through a Health at Every Size lens. We'll focus on behaviors that are sustainable, not quick fixes, and consider the whole person, including sleep, stress, and daily routines. I aim to teach practical skills so you feel empowered to make lasting changes.
Your first session with Mariana
Expect a relaxed, conversational visit where we'll review your medical history and explore what matters most to you. We'll set one or two short-term, realistic goals together so you leave with a clear next step. You don't need to have all the answers before you arrive. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space and evidence-based, simple strategies that we can adjust as we learn what works for you.
