About Madison

For me, nutrition is where science meets everyday life. I’ve spent three years working as a Registered Dietitian after earning a B.S. in Dietetics from Lipscomb University and an MS in Clinical Nutrition from East Tennessee State University. My work has taken me through hospital and outpatient clinical settings and into sports nutrition, including support for high school and college athletes. When I’m off the clock I recharge with scenic walks, try a new recipe, or host game nights and team trivia with friends.

Approach to care

Evidence and empathy guide how I work with patients. I use current research and clinical experience to create clear, practical strategies we can apply together, prioritizing sustainable habit change over quick fixes. I practice from a weight-neutral, behavior-focused perspective, looking at the whole person, not just food. Sessions are educational and action-oriented, so you leave with knowledge, realistic steps, and a plan we can adjust as life shifts.

Your first session with Madison

When we meet for the first time, we'll take a relaxed, judgment-free look at your medical history and how food fits into your life. I’ll ask about your relationship with food, routines, and past attempts so we can identify what’s helped and what’s felt stuck. From that conversation we’ll create a practical meal plan and set a couple of manageable goals together. You don’t need to have it all figured out, just bring honesty and curiosity and we’ll build from there.
