About Madeline
I’m a mom of three passionate about food, the outdoors, and helping others feel their best. After growing up as a competitive athlete, I struggled with my relationship with food and following family loss, I turned to food for comfort, developing unhealthy habits despite staying active as a collegiate basketball player. After transferring to Bucknell University, a study abroad experience in Tanzania left me severely ill and underweight, sparking a fear of weight gain and an unhealthy focus on thinness. Realizing I wasn’t truly healthy or happy, I committed to rebuilding my strength and relationship with food. This journey led me to become a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. I hold a Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics and a BA in Environmental Studies, with experience in clinical care, sports nutrition, corporate wellness, community health, and private practice. I combine evidence-based nutrition with sustainable coaching to help others thrive.
Approach to care
I center care in science and in the whole person. Evidence guides my recommendations, but warmth, curiosity, and respect shape how we put that evidence into practice. We'll set direct, actionable steps that fit your life, with gentle accountability and education so you can make informed choices long term. I practice weight-neutral, holistic nutrition that honors mental and emotional wellbeing, and together we'll build sustainable habits rather than chase short-term fixes.
Your first session with Madeline
Expect a relaxed, collaborative conversation where I review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have. We'll take a deep dive into your relationship with food, talk about what’s been working and what’s been frustrating, and establish a couple of short-term goals that feel realistic. You don't need to have all the answers before we meet. I’ll listen without judgment and we'll leave with clear, manageable next steps to try together.
