About Lindsey
Food and science pulled me toward nutrition early on. With six years as a registered dietitian and an MS in Dietetics from Marshall University, I blend clinical hospital work and research experience to make evidence useful in real life. As a licensed nutrition professional, I translate studies into practical steps you can try at home. When I am not working, I bake, lift weights, and tend my garden, hobbies that keep me curious about food, movement, and small, sustainable routines.
Approach to care
Science informs every recommendation I offer, and empathy shapes how we get there. I work from a weight-neutral, behavior-focused lens that honors your whole life, not just calories. We will use clear, actionable steps rooted in current research, while I listen to your experiences and tailor education to what fits your routine. I aim to be direct and supportive, helping you build skills and accountability so changes stick, together moving toward long-term, sustainable habits.
Your first session with Lindsey
During the first visit we will review your medical history and how it intersects with nutrition, then take a deep dive into your relationship with food, routines, and what has or has not felt sustainable. I will help you identify short-term, specific goals so you leave with clear next steps. You do not need to have everything figured out ahead of time. I strive to make the conversation judgment-free and collaborative, so we can start building practical momentum together.
