About Lila
I have been passionate about nutrition since graduating from Jordan University of Science and Technology, where I began my career and worked for two years in private practice in my home country. I later continued my education and earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Human Nutrition from The University of Alabama. During my internship with KADDI, I gained valuable experience in clinical practice, weight management, bariatric surgical weight management, and community nutrition. I am dedicated to helping people turn confusing nutrition advice into simple, realistic eating habits. I enjoy cooking and sharing practical recipes, and in my free time, you can find me practicing yoga, swimming, reading, traveling, or socializing. Guiding people to feel confident about their food choices motivates me every day.
Approach to care
Evidence guides the plans I offer, and empathy shapes how we work together. I use current research to create clear, practical steps we can try right away, while keeping a weight-neutral, Health At Every Size perspective that focuses on behaviors rather than numbers. We'll look at the whole person, including sleep, stress, and daily routines, and I’ll teach the why behind recommendations so you can build sustainable habits that fit your life. Expect direct, doable goals and gentle accountability as we refine what works together.
Your first session with Lila
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history, lab work and biometrics, and establish short-term goals that feel manageable. You do not need to have it all figured out or bring perfect notes, just come as you are. We'll discuss what has worked and what hasn't, set one or two practical steps to try, and I'll explain the reasoning so you feel confident moving forward. The visit is low-pressure, educational, and focused on building habits you can sustain.
