About Lauren
Food has always been a way I connect with people, and that curiosity led me to study nutrition at a graduate level. To me, nutrition should feel empowering, not overwhelming. I recharge by spending time with family, cooking, gardening, and tackling DIY projects, which helps me keep recommendations realistic and rooted in everyday life.
Approach to care
I center care on current science, compassion, and clear action. As an RDN I use evidence-based strategies while honoring health at every size, avoiding diet culture and weight-focused pressure. We'll work together to set small, measurable habits that build long-term change, and I'll teach the why behind each step so you can make informed choices. My focus is holistic and educational, practical guidance that fits your life, not a one-size-fits-all plan.
Your first session with Lauren
Expect a calm, judgment-free conversation where we'll explore your goals, routines, and what feels manageable right now. I'll ask about your health history, eating patterns, and daily life to understand the full picture, and together we'll identify one or two realistic steps to try. There's no pressure to have everything figured out before we meet, just bring what matters to you and we'll build a sustainable plan together.
