About Lauren
After earning my MS in Nutrition from Appalachian State University I have spent 11 years working as a Registered Dietitian across clinical hospitals, community health programs, bariatric clinics, outpatient nutrition, and private practice. As a CNSC I draw on clinical training and outpatient experience to build practical, evidence-based plans that fit busy lives. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, I recharge by hiking, cooking, practicing yoga, reading, and cycling. I'm here to listen and provide resources so you can live your best life!
Approach to care
I combine current evidence with a warm, empathetic style so care feels both trustworthy and kind. Using a Health At Every Size lens I focus on sustainable habits, function, and wellbeing rather than weight or restriction. We'll translate science into clear, actionable steps that fit your day to day, and I prioritize education so you understand the why behind each change. Together we'll make small, measurable shifts that stack into lasting results without judgment.
Your first session with Lauren
Expect a relaxed, collaborative visit where I'll review your medical history with you and we'll take a deep look at your relationship with food. We are getting to know each other while also clarifying the goals that matter to you, and there is no pressure to have all the answers. We'll walk away with a couple of realistic, evidence-based steps and I will share resources to support you between visits as we move forward together.
