About Lamura
Nutrition captured my curiosity during my studies at Marshall University and never let go. Over 13 years as a registered dietitian I’ve worked in hospitals, private practice, and community health, helping people turn confusing recommendations into manageable routines. My MS and work as an RDN and LD help me translate lab results and research into practical plans. Outside of sessions I love cooking, researching new approaches to healthy eating, and traveling for fresh food ideas. I enjoy meeting patients where they are and building sustainable habits together.
Approach to care
I combine current research with a warm, nonjudgmental space so we can make changes that last. With an MS and practice as an RDN and LD, I use evidence-based strategies while keeping a weight-neutral, behavior-focused perspective. We’ll set clear, practical steps and prioritize the whole person, including sleep, stress, and daily routines. I focus on teaching the why behind recommendations so you gain knowledge and confidence to sustain long-term change, not quick fixes.
Your first session with Lamura
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free visit where we bring together your story and your numbers. We’ll review any lab work or biometrics you have and go over your medical history, then talk through routines, wins, and frustrations. You don’t need to have all the answers before we meet. Together we’ll choose one or two realistic steps to start and agree on how we’ll track progress, so you leave feeling supported, clear, and ready to move forward.
