Patient reviews
βKyra did not just give random advice but she gave suggestions that fit my real life. She listened to my concerns and gave advice I can use in my day to day life. You can tell Kyra loves what she does. β

About Kyra
I started my career working in clinical settings for about 3 years after graduating, working with many different disease states and demographics. Nutrition is my passion and I feel there is a great need to spread nutrition science as it affects everyone of us. Wether you are seeing me for preventative care or disease/disorder management, I will meet you where you are and we will work together to reach your goals and improve your health outcomes long term.
Approach to care
I believe my first job is to be a good listener so I can properly understand you, your experiences, and what resources are available for you. This will give me the context and understanding needed to begin determining the best strategies to help guide you towards your goal(s).
Your first session with Kyra
My style is education based, the clients who get the most from me are the ones who have a positive attitude and want to learn about nutrition and how to apply those concepts. My aim is provide realistic nutrition guidance that you are able to implement as soon as possible by getting to know as much about you (and your relationship with food) as possible. In our first session we will go over all background information including your medical and diet history, a diet recall, and basic education tailored to your health conditions. Follow up meetings will consist of further education, diet recall or going through your meal logs, and collaborating on meal ideas (new recipes or enhancing certain meals you already eat often).
