About Kristin

Food and curiosity have steered my career from bedside care to community education. I earned an MS in Nutritional Science and Health Promotion and, over six years as an RDN and LDN, I've worked in both hospital and community health settings. That mix taught me to translate research into doable plans that fit real life. When I'm not meeting patients, you'll find me testing recipes in the kitchen, reading, or out for a run, and I bring that same practical, curious energy to our work together.

Approach to care

Science guides the recommendations I share, while empathy shapes how we get there. I practice in a weight-neutral framework that focuses on behaviors, health markers, and day-to-day wellbeing instead of quick fixes. We'll use evidence-based steps, clear action items, and ongoing education so you understand why changes matter. My goal is to create sustainable habits, meet you where you are, and adjust plans together when life changes.

Your first session with Kristin

Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we review your medical history and look closely at your relationship with food. We'll talk through what has felt manageable and what has felt overwhelming, then set one or two short-term goals that feel realistic for your routine. You don't need to have everything figured out. We'll leave with clear next steps and a plan we can refine together as you progress.
