About Kristin
Compassion is a value I have held strong while working with patients and clients throughout my career. I went to school at Texas Christian University, and as a Registered Dietitian, I bring 6 years of experience helping others see how nutritional recommendations can fit into their everyday routines. I lean on progress, not perfection, and I focus on doable changes you can sustain. When I'm not working with patients you'll often find me on the tennis court, exercising, or spending time with my kids.
Approach to care
Scientific evidence is the basis for the plans I offer, but people, not numbers, shape those plans. I blend current research with an open, compassionate approach, that focuses on behavior change, not overly-restrictive dieting. I aim to be both empathetic and practical, offering clear, science-based steps and education so you can make informed choices. Together we'll set short-term goals that build confidence and sustainable habits over time.
Your first session with Kristin
Expect a relaxed, low-pressure visit reviewing your medical history and any labs, and discuss what you are wanting to achieve with nutrition counseling. We'll talk about your routines, successes, and frustrations in a judgment-free space, then agree on one or two short-term goals and practical steps to begin. Together, we will create a manageable plan focusing on what is most important to you!
