About Kristen
Nutrition has always felt like a practical science to me, something that can simplify rather than complicate daily life. I hold an MS in Nutrition and Dietetics and have spent 10 years working as a registered dietitian in clinical and hospital settings, helping people translate medical recommendations into doable routines. I love morning runs, exploring new places and foods, and catching live music, and I bring that same curiosity and enjoyment of food to the work we do together.
Approach to care
I center care on clear, evidence-based guidance while keeping things warm and nonjudgmental. We'll use current research as our foundation, then tailor practical steps that fit your life so change lasts. My work is weight-neutral and behavior-focused, considering mental, emotional, and physical factors that influence eating. I aim to educate and empower you, offering direct, actionable strategies we can refine together, one sustainable habit at a time.
Your first session with Kristen
During our initial visit we'll review your medical history and talk through your relationship with food, routines, and any obstacles you face. This is a low-pressure conversation, not an exam. Together we'll set realistic short-term goals so you leave with clear, manageable next steps. You don't need to have it all figured out, just come as you are and we'll build a plan that fits your life.
