About Kathryn
Nutrition has been central to my life since I studied it at Arizona State University, where I earned a BS in Nutrition Science. For eight years I have practiced as an RDN in clinical and hospital settings, helping people navigate complex medical nutrition needs with compassion and clarity. Outside of work I recharge by running, hiking, and doing arts and crafts, activities that keep me curious about movement, creativity, and everyday habits we can sustain together.
Approach to care
I ground care in current evidence while keeping things humane and practical. As an RDN I translate research into clear, doable steps we can try together, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes or restrictive rules. I work from a weight-neutral, Health At Every Size perspective, honoring the whole person, including mental and emotional factors. My goal is to educate and empower you, while being warm, nonjudgmental, and direct about realistic next steps.
Your first session with Kathryn
When you arrive for the first visit we'll take time to review your medical history and any available lab work or biometrics, so we have a clear, science-informed starting point. We'll talk about what matters to you, identify one or two short-term goals, and agree on practical steps you feel ready to try. This is a low-pressure, judgment-free conversation, so you do not need to have everything figured out before we meet.
