About Kali

Curiosity about how food supports everyday life has guided my work for the past decade. I obtained my Master's of Public Health degree from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I practice as an RD and LDN while drawing on CNSC training for clinical cases. My career has included hospital clinical work, private practice, and corporate wellness, which helps me connect acute medical needs with long-term habit change. When I'm not with patients I enjoy cooking, exercising, spending time with my son and family, as well as my dogs.

Approach to care

Evidence and empathy both matter to me. I use current research and proven protocols to create clear, actionable steps, while keeping our work judgment-free and weight-neutral through a Health At Every Size perspective. We'll look at the whole person, not just a food log, addressing emotional, mental, and physical factors that influence choices. I prioritize teaching so you leave sessions with practical skills and understanding that support sustainable change, rather than quick fixes.

Your first session with Kali

Plan on a relaxed, thorough conversation where we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have. We'll also take time for a deep look at your relationship with food, routines, and what has or hasn't worked for you. Together we'll set short-term, manageable goals and outline next steps. This is a low-pressure, nonjudgmental meeting, so you don't need to have everything figured out before we start.
