About June

Eighteen years in clinical nutrition have shown me how personal and practical food can be. I'm an RD with an MS in clinical nutrition from Florida State University, and I've worked in dialysis clinics and in a residential facility for adults with developmental disabilities. (Before this career in nutrition, I worked in the environmental field and actually hold another MS in Engineering and Policy from Washington University in St. Louis.) I have a strong renal background and also enjoy supporting people with diabetes, gout, and gut issues among others. Away from the clinic I love cooking, gardening, hiking, biking, playing pickleball, reading, and hunting down a good comedy set.

Approach to care

Evidence and empathy guide how I work, grounded in current research and practical protocols. Through my training as an RD, I translate science into clear, doable steps we'll test and adjust together, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. I practice weight-neutral, whole-person care that considers mental, emotional, and physical factors. Education is part of every visit, so you'll leave with practical skills and the why behind each recommendation.

Your first session with June

Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll map your medical history, eating patterns, wins and frustrations. It's important you feel comfortable sharing your relationship with food, any supplements, and alternative approaches you use, since I have a background in complementary medicine and welcome those discussions. You don't need to have it all figured out. Together we'll identify one or two practical, sustainable steps to start building toward your goals.
